Lifelong
Learning
We
offer and provide short courses with accommodation whereby
adults and young people can learn new skills and knowledge
to enhance employment opportunities, develop skills to use
in their communities or explore future opportunities for
learning.
The College is a resource for Staffordshire
and Stoke on Trent Communities.
We work with Further Education
Colleges, Universities, Outdoor Education Centres, Connexions,
the Education Business Partnership, Local Education Authorities,
the WEA, Schools, the Voluntary Sector and many others.
What we
can offer
Short
term residential education
Specifically designed and well delivered
courses
Courses to meet the needs of individual groups
who would not normally engage with learning
Academic 'liberal education' courses for adults

Widening Participation
The College can offer specifically designed
courses for community groups.
We have accommodation which is suitable
for family learning and we are working in partnership
with community education and other organisations. Again,
we can specifically design courses to meet the needs
of groups.
For adult learners returning to education
we offer short taster courses either as day or short
residential. We work in partnership with local colleges,
universities, the voluntary sector and Connexions to
offer opportunites for progression.
We are actively working with the local
FE colleges and universites to offer courses to enhance
existing provision.
As a college we are able to offer the

offer learning opportunities which are innovative, enjoyable
