WMnet hosts a searchable collection of regional resources contributed by West Midlands LEAs (http://www.wmnet.org.uk). Historians should have a look at 'Staffordshire Past-track' - rich repository of audio-visual material showing aspects of life in Staffordshire in the past.

National Whiteboard Network - Whiteboard support site from the Primary National Strategy with a wealth of excellent guidance and practical resources for whiteboard users - especially numeracy (http://www.nwnet.org.uk)

www.primaryresources.co.uk  The 'online activities' section of this popular site for primary teachers - lots of interactive Flash.

British Pathe News Archive  The world's first digital news archive.  You can preview items from the entire 3500 hour British Pathe Film Archive which covers news, sport, social history and entertainment from 1896 to 1970.  Stoke-on-Trent schools can download all content at high resolution free of charge for use in the classroom - you can download the free previews at home but the high resolution copies have to be downloaded at school.  http://www.britishpathe.com

www.promethean.co.uk  Do have a look at this - some wonderfully useful resources listed here in a searchable, extensive and well-organised range of downloadable ACTIVstudio flipcharts and web resources that have been submitted by ACTIVboard users - growing all the time.

National ICT Pilots This Web site has been established for LEAs and schools who are part of the Interactive Whiteboards Pilots (Y5/Y6 and Y2/Y3) and the Computers and Laptops Pilot.  You will need a user name and password to access this site (staff working within or supporting Stoke-on-Trent schools can email me for details of these).  www.ictpilots.org.uk

Embedding ICT  This site supports the use of the CD ROMs 'Using ICT in Year 3' and 'Using ICT in Year 6' which are the first in a number of trial CD ROMs from the Primary Strategy. I have not yet received copies of the CD ROMs but you may have done - they contain video sequences showing teachers using ICT to illustrate how to make effective use of ICT in different subjects. The Website has a discussion forum where comments and feedback are invited.  http://www.primarynationalstrategy.org.uk/
